The college has an annual intake of 360 students for under graduate courses based on the CET ranking. The college now offers under graduate courses in six disciplines. The following are the courses offered by the, college at present

FEE STRUCTURE

The fee fixation committee has intimated that the tentative fee for Engineering courses is fixed at Rs. 25,000/- as tuition fees + Rs. 5580 as other fees per annum for the year 2008-2009. The fees so fixed is provisional in nature and liable to be adjusted in accordance with the fee determined by the fee fixation committee/Government.

ONLINE IT PROGRAMMES
Vidya Vardhaka College of Engineering is also a study center for online information technology programmes leading to Master of Science in Information Technology MSc.(IT), Bachelor of Science in Information Technology BSc.(IT) in collaboration with Virtual Education Society, Bangalore Affiliated to Karnataka State Open University, Mysore.

HOSTEL FACILITIES

Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls students

( i ) K.H. Ramaiah Hostel, II Main, V.V. Mohalla, Mysore - 570 002
( ii ) Sri. Adichunchanagiri Hostel, Vinayaka Nagar Extension, Hunsur Road, Mysore – 570 002.

Smt. Yashodara Dasappa Hostel, II Main, V.V. Mohalla, Mysore 570 002. Only Vegetarian food will be served.

PHYSICAL EDUCTION AND SPORTS

With a firm belief that physical fitness leads to mental fitness, the college encourages various sports and games.

Sports facilities are provided to the students for both indoor and outdoor games. Various inter college sports tournaments are conducted by the college sports council. The students also take part in various inter collegiate and varsity sports meet.

The Sports Council consisting of senior staff members and the captains of the College teams which organises an Annual Sport and Athletics meet as part of "VIDYUTH" which is an Inter Engineering Colege festival and encouraging the students to participate in various VTU Inter collegiate sports activities.

CONVEYANCE

Good number of city buses will ply from City Central Bus Stand.
From City – Route Nos. 112, 114, 119, 131, 132, 139, 301, 123, 120, 121, 142, 83, 84.

STUDENT ACTIVITIES

Initiative shown by the students, augmented by constant encouragement provided by the faculty has resulted in a number of student activities. Students are participating in Blood Donation, AIDS Awareness, Tree Plantation, etc.

All the departments have their own association which are constantly striving hard to imbibe recent trends and technologies by arranging various seminars and lectures by well qualified and recognised personalities. There are various inter department competitions conducted giving chance to one and all.

Various inter college sports tournaments are conducted by the college sports council. The students also take part in various inter collegiate and varsity sports meet.

	[2] Fee concession to the SC/ST and category-1 group students whose income is not more than Rs. 50,000/- P.A.
	[3] Government of India National Merit Scholarship.
B] Scholarship from District Social Welfare Office, Mysore District, Mysore.	[1] Government of India post metric scholarship of scheduled cast and scheduled tribe students.
[C] Scholarship from District Officer for Backward Classes & Minorities, Mysore District, Mysore.	[1] Post metric scholarship to students belonging to back word classes and minorities.
[E] S.J. Jindal Trust, Jindal – Nigam Tumkur Road, Bangalore	[1] Award of Scholarship.

Note:-

[1] The eligible students can apply to claim fee concession scholarships of Government of Karnataka in the beginning of the odd semester during each year in the prescribed forms available in the scholarship section.

[2] For endowment scholarship/financial assistance the eligible students can apply in the prescribed form available in the scholarship section as and when the college invites applications.

Students securing highest marks in every semester in each branch and rank holders in final year will be given cash prizes from Vidya Vardhaka Sangha.
