+ Computer Science Engineering
Computer Science department lab has an area measuring upto 595 square meters comprising of 200 P-IV, thin clients connected to Linux, windows 2003, Novel Netware on HP servers, application software like Visual Studio ,Oracle etc. for project work and lab work. Internet facility has been provided with a dedicated lease line of 2 Mbps.
Water and waste water analyzing for bacteriological parameters, the environment process lab for water and waste water treatment units with reverse osmosis plants, water softener, wind monitoring kit.
+ Information Science Engineering
The Department of Information Science & Engineering has well equipped laboratories in the area of Computer Networks, Database Programming, Microprocessor Lab, Object Oriented lab. The laboratories are equipped with 110 IBM computers with Core 2 duo processors & 2GB RAM, Dual Processors servers of HP & IBM family, D-Link switches, High-end Printers from Epson & HP family and LCD multimedia projector. The department is equipped with the latest software and operating systems such as Oracle 9i, Visual Studio 6.0, Linux 9, Windows XP Professional etc, to meet the emerging technologies. The department maintains a separate library called ASCIS library that has a large collection of technical oriented books, to enrich knowledge for both staff and student community.
CAD/CAM lab consisting of 20 systems of P-IV,P-III with software like IDEAS, CATIA, CADIAN and CADUM soft latest versions of lathes milling, surface grinding with all tools, the metrology & instrumentation lab is equipped with sophisticated instrument like profile, roughness tester in a controlled atmosphere. Design lab equipped with computer FFT analyzer and poloriscope, material testing with 60tons UTM with electronic display and printer. Capelin turbines equip in closed loop system. IC engine with various types of petrol and diesel engine with different types of lubricants.
