WELCOME TO DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE & ENGINEERING

     The college has a well equipped computer lab used by students, faculty research, and data processing for the administration information of the college. The basic aim of the computer lab is to augment and update the existing systems whenever demand for computer facility arises and up gradation becomes essential; further, to keep abreast of new developments in hardware and software technologies.

The computing facilities available are as follows.

High Speed Servers, NT Server.

Is a client server based on a 2.4Ghz Pentium IV processor with 128MB RAM. The system runs on Windows-NT 4.0 supporting upto 45 terminals. All terminals are Pentium IV 3 GHz with 128 MB RAM, 20GB Hard Disk and SVGA color monitor.

Novell Server Is based on a 450 MHz Pentium IV processor, it runs on the Novell Netware 4.1, supporting 40 thin clients.

Unix Server Based on a 450 MHz Pentium IV processor running on Linux Operating System 7.1. It supports 40 nodes.

Novel Netware Server This Novel Netware Server is dedicated for MS-Office and related software, Visual Basic, Visual C++, Developer 2000, Power Builder and other software's are supported by it.

The department also maintains a well-furnished Internet Laboratory with 2 Mbps ISDN leased connection.
